At A Dog’s Paradise, we strive to provide responsible, reliable, and loving care to your pets while you’re away. We have policies and procedures in place to promote the achievement of our goal to meet or exceed our client’s expectations. We are grateful for your business, and understand the trust placed in us to do our job.
With that said, there are circumstances that are beyond our control and that is why the legal/liability statement below exists. Please review and understand our policies.
I (you) represent that I am the legal owner (“Owner”) of the pets placed in the care of A Dog’s Paradise as listed and I assume all risks, dangers, and responsibility for injuries to the named pets. Owner understands and agrees that Owner is solely responsible for any harm while Owner’s pet(s) is/are under the care and supervision of A Dog’s Paradise.
PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE: We love to post pictures and videos on Facebook, our website, and/or in advertising. Owner agrees to allow A Dog’s Paradise to use Owner’s pet’s name and any images or likeness of Owner’s pet taken while he/she is under the care and supervision of A Dog’s Paradise, in any form, for use at any time, in any media, marketing, advertising, illustration, trade or promotional materials without compensation, and Owner releases to A Dog’s Paradise all rights that Owner may possess or claim to such image, likeness, recording, etc.
For boarding and Doggy Day Care:
DOG’S HEALTH. Owner further understands and agrees that Owner’s dog(s) is/are healthy and while under the care and supervision of A Dog’s Paradise will have current vaccinations for rabies and distemper. Owner is not enrolling any dog that has any condition that could potentially jeopardize the health of other dogs or people and has not had any potentially communicable condition within 30 days prior to enrollment. Owner further understands that even if Owner(s) dog is vaccinated for Bordetella (Kennel Cough) there is a chance that the Owner’s dog can still contract Kennel Cough. Owner agrees that Owner will hold harmless A Dog’s Paradise if Owner’s dog(s) contracts Kennel Cough or other dog-dog transmitted ailments.
For boarding and Doggy Day Care:
FLEA/TICK FREE. All dogs must be flea/tick free. Should a dog be observed to have fleas or ticks, a flea/tick bath treatment will be applied and charged to the owner at a rate of up to $90.00 depending on severity and size of dog.
For boarding and Doggy Day Care:
BEHAVIOR. All dogs must pass a general behavior assessment to attend Doggy Day Care or receive boarding services. No dog may be admitted to Doggy Day Care or receive boarding services who shows any signs of any type of aggression. Owner further understands and agrees that in admitting Owner’s dog(s) to Doggy Day Care or receive boarding services, Owner is representing to A Dog’s Paradise that Owner’s dog(s) is/are in good health and have not harmed, shown aggression, or exhibited any threatening behavior towards any person or other dogs. Any dog demonstrating aggression or other behavior deemed unacceptable by A Dog’s Paradise may be required to leave daycare/boarding. Owner understands and agrees that during normal dog play, Owner’s dog could sustain injuries. Dog play is monitored by A Dog’s Paradise to best avoid injury, but an injury may occur despite the best supervision. Owner further understands and agrees that neither A Dog's Paradise nor any of its employees, staff, or volunteers will be liable for any illness, injury, and/or escape of Owner’s dog(s) provided that reasonable care and precautions are followed, and Owner hereby releases A Dog’s Paradise and its staff or volunteers of any liability of any kind whatsoever arising from or because of Owner’s dog(s) being under the care and supervision of A Dog’s Paradise.
PERSONAL PROPERTY: Owner understands that Owner is solely responsible for any harm, including to any other pet(s), to the employees or invitees of A Dog’s Paradise, or to the equipment, facilities, or other property of A Dog’s Paradise, caused by Owner’s dog(s). Owner also agrees that A Dog’s Paradise shall not be responsible or liable for any lost or damaged personal property belonging either to Owner or Owner’s pet.
FOOD/MEDS: Owner agrees that it is the Owner’s responsibility to provide adequate supply of food and any medications needed for Owner’s dog(s) for the duration Owner’s dog is under the care and supervision of A Dog’s Paradise. Should any food/medication supply need replacement, Owner authorizes A Dog’s Paradise to obtain replacement and Owner agrees to reimburse A Dog’s Paradise for the actual food and medication costs plus any delivery/shipping fees incurred.
Owner understands special-needs dogs, young puppies, and senior dogs naturally have a higher risk of injury, stress-related illnesses, weakened immune system, or exacerbation of any pre-existing condition.
PAYMENTS are due and payable upon booking of services or the ordering of goods. We do accept many forms of payment for our goods and services including US currency, major credit and debit cards (e-processing fee applies), Zelle, and Venmo. We do not accept personal checks, credit/debit cards drawn on banks outside of the US, or other forms of currency. We use a secure (SSL) online payment processor and do not keep credit card information on file.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Boarding, day care, sitting, and overnight service cancellations less than 72 hours prior to scheduled start of said services are not eligible for any refunds and will be given a partial credit of 50% of charged amount towards rescheduled services ONLY.
Service cancellations more than 72 hours prior to start of services but less than 15 days prior to start of scheduled service date will have the option of re-scheduling services with full credit of charged amount applied less a 20% cancellation fee.
Service cancellations 16 or more days prior to start of scheduled service date will have the option of re-scheduling services with full credit of charged amount applied.
There are no refunds under any circumstances nor any pro-rated refunds or credits for any unused or unclaimed products or services.
Doggy Day Care hours are 5:00AM to 6:00PM, Arizona time. We do schedule other services outside of these times; therefore, we ask that you please drop off and pickup your fur babies on time. If you have circumstances that require hours outside of our regular hours, please discuss your needs with our staff.
RIGHT OF REFUSAL: A Dog’s Paradise reserves the right to refuse admittance to any dog or dismiss any dog that does not meet or maintain the health, temperament, or other standards as set by A Dog's Paradise. The determination of such shall be made at the sole discretion of A Dog’s Paradise.
FULL FORCE AND EFFECT: Owner further understands and expressly agrees that each of the foregoing provisions contained herein shall be in force and effect and shall apply to every occasion on which Owner’s pets are under the care and supervision of A Dog’s Paradise.
